Kathy and Dennis Allen tempted several Red-Breasted Nuthatches and Purple Finches to their feeders (fall 2007).

Not all creatures at bird feeders in Brevard are birds! It appears the battle is unending as other local residents come
under the mistaken notion that the food in the feeders is, in fact, for them!

Fall often brings interesting migrants to the area. Especially welcome are the fine hummingbirds that
appear such as this Rufous Hummingbird captured on film by Wayne Forsythe, September 2007.

dog hair from the porch which was then transported to a nearby nest (August 2007).
